Fresh ingredients, if you want to be technical, refer to anything that is not processed. As long you did not get it from a can, it can be considered fresh. However, we are going to limit this page to ingredients that are fresh and are found in a vegetarian’s diet.

You would not believe how many people love their greens—collard greens, mustard greens, spring greens, winter greens, and basically anything that grows in the garden and is green. More and more people are exchanging meat for veggies and we have dedicated a page for them. They do not have to browse through other pages to pick out a recipe that fits their diet. Fresh Ingredients is all about vegetarians and healthy eating.

Vegetarian or not, feel free to share a “fresh” recipe. The same guidelines apply. If you need a refresher, see below.

1.All recipes should include:

  • The title/name of the culinary dish
  • The main ingredients (with the quantity, of course)
  • Equipments needed (e.g. oven)
  • Step-by-step procedure
  • Number of servings

2.If the recipe you submitted is already posted by another member, your submission will not be published.
